New Moon, New Ventures

September Harvest Moon

This week was the third and last Harvest Moon, or Supermoon (as it is sometimes called) of the year. Harvest Moons are the three Full Moons closest to the Autumn Equinox. At this time of year the Moon is at its brightest due to the closeness of the earth and has traditionally helped farmers reap their crops throughout the night, hence the name Harvest Moon.

Full moons often signify balance and the start of new beginings. We have been feeling this parellel and shift in energy and are putting new ideas into action. One of which is to join the world of blogging!

We’re looking forward to connecting with kindred spirits and starting out on a new path on our journey. Old teachings say the full moon is a direct connection between the outer and inner world and this couldn’t feel more appropriate.
